The Bitesize Hazelnut Egg, designed to appeal to young and old alike, gets a perfect 10 this Easter. You’ll love this melt-in-the-mouth bite of 56% dark chocolate hazelnut praliné with a hint of fleur de sel, coated in rippled chocolate and decorated with a fine layer of 37% milk chocolate. This thimble-sized portion of pure indulgence with a praliné heart is a must for every egg hunt. The crunchy chocolate decoration’s Easter colors contrast with the irresistibly melting filling.
Taste our chocolates at a room temperature of 20°C. Accompany your tasting with mineral water, in order to let the flavors of the chocolate express themselves at best. You can store our chocolates in a cool, dry place (18°C) in their original packaging, or in the bottom drawer of your refrigerator, after having protected your box in a paper or plastic bag (in the latter case, take the chocolates out 30 minutes before tasting them).
Did you know? To achieve the chic coating of the Bitesize Hazelnut Egg marbled with chocolate swirls like clouds, a fan is used on the dark chocolate coating. The hazelnut praliné treat is doused in a veil of dark chocolate couverture. The air from the fan blows off the excess coating, giving the Bitesize Hazelnut Egg its ripple effect. The treat holds its breath until the 37% milk chocolate decoration is applied, then is left to slowly set.
